Lies Kerrar is an Executive Board Director Forum des Chefs d’Entreprises (FCE), an Algerian association of leading Algerian enterprises. He is also Chairman of Hawkama El Djazair, the Algerian Institute of Corporate Governance (Algeria), and a contributor of the OEDC-MENA Corporate Governance Task Force. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the Clean Tech private equity fund Becapital Positive EconomyTM (Belgium). The Positive EconomyTM is a concept developed by BeCitizen (France), which asserts that economic and environmental capital can grow simultaneously and that technologies that help preserve and restore the environment will benefit from significant growth prospects.
Lies Kerrar is heading Humilis Finance. Humilis provides transaction execution capability across diverse industries, including privatizations, acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures, project finance, Public Private Partnerships, minority investments and financing from strategic and financial investors. Additionally, Humilis offers corporate finance advisory and financial modeling services, which gives clients valuable insights and assistance during a financing process and result in a financing transaction with lower costs and greater certainty of closure.
Lies Kerrar has a degree in International Trade from HEC Montreal. He holds a MBA Finance from HEC Montreal and studied Corporate Finance and Derivatives at University of Toronto.
